Help Us Fill the Backpacks!
The B.P.O.E. #1311 Elks and the Women's Softball Association of Greater Willimantic (WSAGW) are teaming up once again to help local students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed!
We're collecting donations for our Back to Books Blitz, and we'd love your help. Every notebook, pencil, backpack, and school supply donated makes a difference for children in our community.

Please have all donations in by August 15th so they can be delivered to
WAIM in time for the new school year.

Boombox Parade 2026
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support and represent the Women's Softball Association of Greater Willimantic in this year's Boombox Parade!
Our players, families, and volunteers had a great time walking the parade route, sharing smiles, and handing out hundreds of ice pops to help everyone stay cool in the summer heat. Seeing our community come together is what makes events like this so special.
Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered us on, and stopped to say hello. We are proud to be part of such an amazing community and look forward to participating again next year!
Jimmy Fund 2025
WSAGW players participate in a Jimmy Fund Tournament in Groton, CT each year.
Trick or Treat on Main Street
Our league participated in Willimantic’s Trick or Treat on Main Street for the first time this year — and what a blast it was! We got to hand out candy to over 2,000 trick-or-treaters and see so many amazing costumes. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and share in the fun. We’re already looking forward to next year!
